All Peoples has been designated as a Family Source Center (Southeast) for the City of Los Angeles. Family Source services include information and referral, intake and assessment, case management, computer literacy, financial literacy, multi-benefit screening and enrollment, individual service strategy development, child care, adult education, employment and training, financial coaching, income tax preparation assistance (VITA), parenting skills, transition to middle and high school workshops, tutoring, arts education, mental health counseling, mentoring and counseling and college corner/workshops (SAT, financial aid and college application preparation).

RSVP Director
The Director of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is responsible for accomplishing the goals and objectives of the project to provide volunteer opportunities for persons 55 and older, under the supervision of Executive Director.
SALARY
- $ 4,002 – $4,350 monthly (DOE) – Full Time
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Recruit and monitor senior volunteers and implement plans for additional recruitment of new volunteers as a placement opportunities are developed
- Develop, maintain and evaluate volunteer stations
- Collection and maintenance of project data, records and calendars
- Prepare and issuing of reports
- Coordinate activities, programs and special RSVP projects
- Review and approve reimbursements request
- Maintain records for volunteers quarterly
- Assist in annual budget development; monitor program budget.
- Maintain program quality by planning annual program goals and objectives designed to meet critical community needs.
- Develop positive public relations; conduct and oversee outreach activities including program related presentations.
- Maintain professional knowledge and skills by attending relevant workshops, training, and conferences; participate in program related professional organizations.
- Work closely with RSVP Advisory Council to support program work plans and activities; identify and develop resources to enhance and support the program.
- Supervise staff and volunteers
- Perform other project related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Executive Director
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education / Experience:
- B.A. degree in relevant field
- Must have Car for travel and Clean driving record
- Valid California Driver’s License and liability insurance
- 2 years experience working with volunteers
- 3 years experience working with Older Adult population in agency setting preferred
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Grant writing experience preferred
- Skilled use of Google Applications for Non-profits and MS Office Suite
- Bilingual ability in Spanish a plus
Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to relate well with older persons and work in a multi-cultural and ethnically diverse community agency
- Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and take initiative
- Familiar with South Central and South East Los Angeles Communities
- Skills in quickly resolving challenges and the ability to succeed using innovation and limited resources

RSVP Outreach Worker
Outreach Workers are responsible for providing support to the Retired Senior & Volunteer Program (RSVP) for persons 55 years and older and assisting with accomplishing the goals and objectives of the program. Serves as the main point of contact to volunteers, station coordinators, and other stakeholders seeking information about the RSVP.
SALARY
- $17.00 per hour DOE (20 Hrs./wk.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and research leads for recruitment of potential program volunteers and placement stations in the neighborhoods of South Los Angeles, Bell, Bell Gardens, Cudahy, Southgate, Lynwood, Maywood, Huntington Park, or the City of Vernon
- Conduct one-on-one eligibility screenings via telephone or in-person with potential program volunteers and station coordinators
- Onboarding new volunteers and placement stations (e.g., orientation to program, helping with paperwork and understanding roles and responsibilities)
- Collect and maintain project data using a computerized database system
- Maintain RSVP files, program supplies inventory, and program equipment
- Maintain regular communication with volunteers and station coordinators
- Provide administrative support to the RSVP Director
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to compose basic correspondence, a solid grasp of spelling, grammar, and syntax
- Computer experience with Windows Microsoft Office, WordPerfect, Excel
- Minimum two years’ experience as an Outreach Worker or in a comparable position preferred
- Ability to deal competently and comfortably with a variety of groups especially seniors, volunteers, staff, and participants of different ethnicity, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds
- Flexibility to handle multiple assignments and deadlines
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Good organizational skills and work habits
- Good communication skills to clearly articulate program benefits to volunteers and potential placement stations
- Enjoys interacting with the general public and able to maintain a consistently positive and upbeat attitude
- Public Speaking experience highly preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid California driver’s license, car insurance, and willing to drive on agency business
- Fingerprinting/Live Scan will be required
Data Manager
All Peoples Community Center is looking for an experienced Data Manager to oversee the development and use of data systems. You will discover efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. You will be tech-savvy and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. The goal is to ensure that information flows timely and securely to and from the organization as well as within.
Salary:
- $4,002 – $4,350 per month (DOE) – Full Time
Responsibilities
- Create and enforce policies for effective data management
- Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
- Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
- Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
- Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
- Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
- Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
- Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
- Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications
Skills
- Proven experience as data manager
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
- Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field
