Our Team
How We Help
Our programs are integrated to serve the entire family. Many people attending our center use multiple services. Our strategic approach is the TwoGeneration Model, a best practice “providing services to both child and adults simultaneously and tracking outcomes for both.” We also use the Strengthening Families model from Strategies 2.0. This model is centered on the beliefs that “healthy families are the bedrock of strong, vibrant communities”. Thanks to our dedication to the community since 1942, we are well-placed to serve at its family resource center. In 2016, the City selected us to be the FamilySource Center for Southeast LA (There are 16 such centers in the city).
At All Peoples Community Center, we emphasize education as the tool for community building. Therefore, all our programs have an educational component. We also provide opportunities for employment and leadership to community members who are role models for all program participants. Half of our staff live in our service area. Three-fourths are bilingual.
