How would you describe All Peoples Community Center: All Peoples is an amazing place for the community and its employees. It is a diverse and fun work environment that strives to encourage and assist the community in a positive manner. It helps youth strive to reach their academic goals and assists them in every step of the way. All Peoples is truly an amazing place with spectacular individuals.

Favorite Part of Your Job: My favorite part about my job is helping students and seeing a smile on their face when they see that their problem got fixed/solved. I also really enjoy working on the creative work I do like the College Tour flyers and the posters I make with my co-worker Michelle Blanco.

My best All Peoples story: My best story would probably have to be when I introduced myself at my first staff meeting. I honestly did not know how to properly introduce myself, and I was sweating buckets. Every time a staff member would finish and get closer to being my turn, I would start getting more nervous and anxious. I don’t even remember what it is that I said when it was my turn, but I’m sure I stuttered and messed up a couple times. To top it all off later we were put into groups and had to present on a certain topic, and I was chosen to present along with Deisy and I was super nervous. I debated many times to just say I needed to go to the restroom and just stay there, but I knew that wasn’t an option and had to face my fears. In the end it wasn’t as bad as I thought, and every single staff member was welcoming and friendly which is what I love about All Peoples.

Hobbies: I enjoy drawing both on paper and digitally. I also like reading manga, watching anime, photography, and hanging out with my friends.

Fun Fact About Me/Hidden Talent: A Fun Fact about me is that I was a police explorer in 11th Grade. It’s like a police scout of sorts. We would do mock scenarios, learn police codes, and we would volunteer in city events.

Me in 3 Words: Happy, Creative, and Shy

We’re so happy that Ulises is part of our All Peoples Family!
