TAX VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – STIPEND AVAILABLE

Take an active role in your community and become a tax volunteer-a chance to touch many lives.
 
Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity in your community? Here is your change to lend a helping hand. You can learn to prepare taxes and make a difference at the same time by becoming a volunteer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program at All Peoples Community Center.
 
You will receive quality training to provide free tax help for low-to-moderate-income families who need assistance preparing their tax returns. As a tax volunteer, you will be working at our agency at All Peoples Community Center. Once 2019 tax season begins, you will be working with families preparing their taxes. We will be open various days, nights, weekends, and we will have flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. No prior experience or schooling required, and you must be over 18.

Training begins soon. Please inquire now. Volunteers may receive a stipend but you must volunteer from February 6 to April 18, 2019.
