  • Esmeralda Gonzalez Aguirre, Orthopedic Hospital High School
  • Claudia Gomez, Santee High School

On Thursday, April 11, 2019, Stacy Gooding accompanied the young women to Emerson College where each was assigned a personal assistant to help them in the selection of a formal dress, shoes, and accessories to match. They had the opportunity to get make-up tutorials and dress alterations if needed. Additionally, the young women were given a “swag bag” with lots of goodies including a WiFi speaker, make-up, and gift certificates for fast food meals. It was a special opportunity to celebrate their achievements in school and service to the South Los Angeles Community.  The staff at All Peoples Community FamilySource Center are proud of Marlen, Esmerlada, and Claudia, and look forward hearing about their college experiences and ultimate career choices!
