On March 8, 2019, All Peoples hosted an After-School and YouthSource Career Night led by YouthSource Case Manager Adrian Rios! Youth were able to have group Q and A sessions with various career professionals to see what fields they might be interested in pursuing. Additional educational tools were also available to Youth including LAUSD work permit applications, internship opportunities, job applications and college scholarship applications.
Over 65 Youth and Parents attended the event. We would like to thank our Youth and Families that participated in the Career Night, and a special thank you to all of the event speakers who took time out to mentor our All Peoples Youth.
We’re currently looking for Youth mentors! If you can spare a few hours in the upcoming months, we invite you to sign up for our next Youth Career Night. This is an opportunity to share your work experiences with our Youth, and answer any questions that they might have regarding your profession. Please contact YouthSource Case Manager Adrian Rios at (213) 747-63547 ext. 151 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. *
