Our youth staff are assisting with tutoring, and enrichment activities utilizing technology to bring youth together while staying at home. Art lessons are currently being facilitated by Teens Youth Coordinator and Art Teacher Erick “Sen” Moreno. Classes are designed for beginners who are interested in learning to draw, paint, and be creative.

A Message from our Executive Director Saundra Bryant:
The All Peoples After-School “Tomorrow’s Leaders” Program currently serves approximately 279 students ranging from 1st – 12th grade. Services are offered onsite at All Peoples as well as Dunbar Village, Adams and Central, Casa Figueroa and Washington 702. All program locations operate Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
The structure of our All Peoples After-School “Tomorrow’s Leaders” Program allows ample time throughout the week for healthy snacks, academic assistance, recreational activities, and social development. Student performance throughout the year is monitored by collecting report cards and giving students a pre and post-test in math and reading using the STAR assessment program.
Based on reports, 67.5% of our students showed an increase in their reading level by minimum of a full point and 23.7% of the students maintained the same reading level. In math, 77.6% of our students showed an increase in their math level and 15.7% maintained the same math level. Staff’s main focus is to consistently work with students to improve in the areas in which they are lacking academically. Staff maintains a constant and close relationship with the school, teachers, and parents in order to help improve the student’s academic performance.
For 2019, we will start highlighting our All Peoples After-School “Tomorrow Leaders” Program by featuring a “Youth of the Month” on our website. The Youth recognized for the Month will showcase their experience in the All Peoples After-School “Tomorrow’s Leaders” Program by posting pictures and stories on our All Peoples Instagram Page using hashtag #TomorrowsLeaders. We encourage you to support our Youth by following them on Instagram as we empower them to be the change that they want to see in their schools and community.
